Art Direction - The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (Fail)

Cinematography - Avatar (Succeed)

Costume Design - The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (Fail)

Directing - Quentin Tarantino - Inglourious Basterds (Fail)

Film Editing - District 9 (Fail)

Foreign Film - A Prophet (Un Prophete) (Fail)

Make Up - Star Trek (Succeed)

Sound Editing - Inglourious Basterds (Fail)

Sound Mixing - Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (The only reason this "film" should be mentioned at the Academy Awards) (Fail)

Result: 8 right, 11 wrong

Apparently the Academy hates Tarantino because he was cheated out of a plethora of categories.  Don't get me wrong, Hurt Locker was phenomenal, but this year is reminiscent of the year Pulp Fiction didn't win the Oscar for Best Picture.
